1. Promoter
The promoter is Racquetsphere International Limited, trading as The Pickleball Directory (company number 16213154), whose registered office is No. 1, St Pauls Square, Liverpool, L3 9SJ, United Kingdom (the "Promoter"). Questions about the draw can be sent to hello@thepickleballdirectory.co.uk.
2. Entry period
The prize draw opens at 10:00 GMT on Monday 2 November 2026 and closes at 23:59 GMT on Sunday 29 November 2026. Entries received after the closing time will not be included. Registration to receive the survey before 2 November is not an entry into the draw.
3. Eligibility
The draw is open to individuals aged 18 or over who are resident in the United Kingdom at the time of entry. Employees of the Promoter, anyone directly involved in administering the draw, and their immediate families or household members are not eligible. The Promoter may request reasonable evidence of eligibility before awarding the prize.
4. How to enter
Entry is free. No purchase, payment or marketing subscription is required.
To enter the free prize draw, an eligible participant must complete and submit the UK Pickleball Player Survey 2026 using the link made available by The Pickleball Directory from 10:00 GMT on Monday 2 November 2026. The participant must then follow the link provided after submitting the survey and complete the separate prize-entry form before the closing time. The prize-entry form requires a valid email address, confirmation that the participant is aged 18 or over and resident in the UK, and acceptance of these terms.
Completing the survey alone does not automatically enter a participant into the prize draw. Both the survey and the separate prize-entry form must be submitted. Registering to receive the survey, or submitting the prize-entry form without completing the survey, does not constitute a valid entry. A unique survey submission reference may be checked against the prize-entry form to verify completion.
Only one valid entry per person is permitted. Multiple submissions, including those made using different email addresses, do not create additional chances to win. Incomplete, ineligible, duplicate or fraudulent entries may be excluded. Survey answers are not judged or scored for the draw and do not affect the chance of winning.
5. Prize
There is one prize: a £100 UK Pickleball Shop electronic gift card for use at pickleball.co.uk. One winner will receive the full £100 value. The prize is not exchangeable for cash and is not transferable. Any spending above the gift card value is the winner's responsibility. The gift card is subject to the retailer's applicable redemption terms, including any expiry date or product restrictions.
If circumstances genuinely outside the Promoter's reasonable control prevent the advertised prize from being supplied, the Promoter may provide an alternative of equal or greater value.
6. Winner selection
One winner will be selected at random from all verified, eligible entries by Friday 4 December 2026. Selection will use a verifiably random computer process or be conducted under the supervision of an independent person. The Promoter will retain evidence of the selection process.
7. Winner notification and claiming the prize
The provisional winner will be contacted using the email address supplied on the prize-entry form within five working days of selection. The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner, including at least one follow-up email if no reply is received.
The winner must respond and provide any reasonably requested eligibility information within 14 days of the first notification. If a winner is ineligible, declines the prize or does not respond after reasonable contact attempts within that period, the Promoter may select a replacement winner using the same random process.
The gift card will be delivered electronically within 30 days of the winner's eligibility being confirmed, unless the winner agrees otherwise.
8. Winner information
To demonstrate that a valid award took place, the Promoter may make available information identifying the winner, ordinarily their surname and county, on request. Entrants may object to this or request that the amount of information disclosed be reduced by emailing hello@thepickleballdirectory.co.uk. The Promoter may still be required to provide relevant information confidentially to the Advertising Standards Authority if challenged.
9. Personal data and marketing
The Promoter will process personal information collected in connection with the survey and prize draw in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Personal information submitted to request the survey will be used to send the specifically requested survey invitation. Personal information provided for prize-draw administration will be used to verify eligibility, confirm survey completion, administer the prize draw, contact the winner and deliver the prize.
Survey responses may be associated with a unique submission reference solely to verify completion. Survey results will be analysed and reported in aggregate, and personal information provided on the prize-entry form will not be used to assess or score individual survey responses.
Participants may separately choose to receive marketing communications from The Pickleball Directory by selecting an optional, unchecked marketing consent box. Consent to marketing is not a condition of entering the prize draw and will not influence the chances of winning. Participants who consent may withdraw their consent at any time using the unsubscribe facility in marketing emails.
Personal information will be retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and in accordance with applicable legal requirements. 10. General
The Promoter will administer the draw fairly and in accordance with these terms. It may reject entries that fail the stated eligibility or entry requirements, but will not change the rules or closing date except where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this unavoidable and the change is fair to participants. The Promoter is not responsible for technical failures outside its reasonable control, but will take reasonable steps to avoid unfairly disadvantaging entrants.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. The draw and these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply elsewhere in the UK.
